Mediterranean Monsters 5E layout draft complete!

Hi all,

We wanted to let you know that we've completed the initial layout of the full bestiary and it is HUGE, clocking in at a massive 202 pages. We're massaging the text and white space a bit and the final page count probably will come down a bit as we rearrange some things, but most likely we'll still end up at or around 180-190 pages. This is the biggest book in our Legendary Bestiaries series by far, so it's definitely a screaming deal in terms of how many awesome creatures you'll find within! 

It's almost here!!!

Thanks as always for your amazing support of this project! Updates ahoy! 

• Our original Mediterranean Monsters layout artist got super-busy with his day job, so we shifted the project over to one of our other layout artists, who got a good start on the book until he ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. He still feels pretty horrible but is expecting to be able to head home soon. Meanwhile, we just chatted and he said the book is done through the letter "H" and he'll be resuming once he gets home.
• False Prophecies, the second book in the Mother of Monsters Adventure Path, has taken some doing to get finalized at the printer. We've uploaded what we hope is the final version and are waiting on approvals from them to add to the print queue for when print books are ready to ship!
• Pathfinder 1E and 2E work on Mediterranean Monsters is still continuing, but slowly as other projects have needed attention as well. We are still looking forward to getting those together as soon as we are able. 

That's all for now, but we're keeping the wheels moving and wanted to touch base with all of you. More to come as we've got news to share! 

Foundry VTT added for Sea Monsters and Latin American Monsters VTT Module

Hi all,

Quick note to let you know we got our reply from Backerkit Support and were able to go back in and manually add Foundry VTT as an option for Sea Monsters and Latin American Monsters! These monster books are later in the queue, so they are not available right now but we'll put them in the production queue and let you know when they are completed. 

PS - As a reminder, the main Mediterranean Monsters book is in layout now, and we'll have previews for you hopefully in the next week or so!

Hi all, 

Just a quick update to let you know that the bestiary book is over to layout at last! Turns out we are missing 2 pieces of art, so we'll be ordering those, but the rest of everything is all buttoned up and layout can begin with just placeholders for the artwork there. The final tally 92,955 words of sheer concentrated awesomeness! We even added a few more creatures because they were just too much fun not to include! We'll have updates for you coming soon, but just wanted to share the happy news! 

Over 80% responses, so order lock coming tomorrow morning!

Thanks so much for your swift response. We're ready to push the button and lock the orders thus far. If for any reason you still have outstanding issues, not to worry. You can leave your survey incomplete for now while we work through your situation and we can lock your order at a later time. If you're alllmost ready, go ahead and log in and make your selections and we'll get everyone squared away ASAP! 

For now, once we lock orders tomorrow morning, it will also charge cards and once those are processed you'll be able to access your downloads. As a reminder, the following PDFs are not yet available for download.

• A Threatened Democracy

Adrian is progressing along nicely with the latter and I've been doing the same with the bestiary. We found two more monsters that were missing stats (but art was already in), and I'm still going through and checking formats and flavor text and then compiling the introduction and tables, but it should be ready to send to layout by the end of this weekend. We're excited for you to get your hands on all the amazing creatures in here, including a few new arrivals like this lovely lassie leaning into things just for you!
