Mediterranean Monsters & Mythology for D&D 5E

First wave of books shipped! And A Threatened Democracy almost ready for you!

Hi all,

Our shipment was delivered last Thursday, and after doing some pallet breakdown and organization our first batch of books was dropped off today at the post office! Over 100 backers have their Mediterranean Monsters books coming their way, some just the book and others some combination packs. There are plenty more to go but... we ran out of mailing labels! Those should arrive tomorrow and we can get back on with packing and shipping! 

Other good news is that the last adventure (so far) in the Mother of Monsters Adventure Path is almost ready for distribution: A Threatened Democracy! I'll be giving it a proofing review pass this week and then the PDF will be ready to be uploaded to Backerkit and we'll be sending it in for print approvals. Once it's ready, we'll be able to start sending out the print books for Mother of Monsters for our backers. Those will be shipping directly from the printer and will arrive separately from the books we have here in stock like Mediterranean Monsters, Asian Monsters, Sea Monsters, and the Pirate Campaign Compendium. Backers who ordered both will generally be getting their books in two separate packages. We'll send out an email once the adventure is ready.

Hi all,

Our ship is scheduled to arrive in port next Monday, February 12th! Customs clearance usually takes a week or two, but after that we'll be able to arrange truck delivery here (we're just a few miles away from the port) and we should have the books in hand before the end of February and be able to start shipping out Mediterranean Monsters, Pirate Campaign Compendium, and more! These books are beautiful and we hope you love them when they arrive! 

Our layout guys have been pounding through other projects but are ready to start next week on Mediterranean Monsters for Pathfinder RPG and Pathfinder Second Edition as we prepare for a Mediterranean Monsters II Quick-Starter this spring (probably launching in late March/early April) to add those new books; the 5E books are the same as last year's project, though if you missed any items or wanted to add VTT options you certainly can! 

Speaking of "revisited" Quick-Starter projects, today is the FINAL DAY of our Mechanical Monsters & Heroes Quick-Starter! Early Bird Preview Copies Received and Sent! And Mechanical Monsters Coming Next Week!

Hi everyone! 

We finally got our preview print copies of Mediterranean Monsters and they look amazing! These books are queued up to ship from our printer on January 23rd and should be arriving in port here on or around February 15th, so after customs processing we hope to have them in hand and ready to start shipping by the end of that month! We received six preview copies, and as is our tradition we drew numbers for six lucky backers to get these copies now! Backers Schenk, Kirkpatrick, Asteris, Beckett, O'Brien, and Durbin can look forward to getting these beauties in your mailbox soon! Thanks to each of you for helping make this project amazing and we are excited to get all of these books headed your way soon!

The printer sent us the full print sample pages for final review before the print run begins. They arrived on Saturday and today we went through and did a page-by-page final proofing pass and sent those corrections over to layout. At this stage, it's mostly just a missing space or extra period, but caught three or four actual errors that snuck through before. We are excited to get this book printed and eagerly await resolution of the container traffic issues that have our books stuck overseas. 

As we get our existing projects finalized at the printer, we're also excited to announce our latest project: Templars & Tyrants, an awesome 80-page class expansion for paladins of pure good and antipaladins of ultimate evil! This one is a true QUICK-starter, with the PDF complete and ready for release as soon as this short 20-day KS ends!

We are excited to unveil the full Mediterranean Monsters bestiary for you! This massive bestiary is the biggest one yet in our Legendary Bestiary series, clocking in at a whopping 186 pages, from adamastor to zorra berradeira! We're prepping the book files for the printer and, since we're still waiting our turn on shipment for our earlier Kickstarters, if we don't have any delays we should be able to get this book added to our shipment. We'll keep you up to date as we know more.

Thanks for your patience as we powered through this incredible book, adding some bonus monsters for you as we go! We've been over this book with a fine-toothed comb, but a thousand pairs of eyes are better than a few, so if you happen to spot a typo we missed let us know ASAP and we'll get it fixed before we go to print.
