VTT Update on Mediterranean Monsters, and A Tale of Two Seas scheduled for April 16!

Hi all,
We got a few messages asking about the status on VTT mods for Mediterranean Monsters 5E, and after some serious conversations we've got the following to report:
- Given the lack of progress from the former folks, we have moved on from the previous folks and hired new Foundry and Roll20 people to work on Mediterranean Monsters. Both of them have started work already and we hope to have those VTTs ready for you by the end of April.
- Given the lack of progress plus the very low sales numbers, we are going to have to cancel the Shard version of Mediterranean Monsters. The 3 backers who ordered this version will be refunded (or could choose a different VTT option if they like); I'll be in touch soon.
- The Fantasy Grounds version is kind of in between. Sales are a little better than Shard, but still well behind Foundry and Roll20, and our one usually reliable Fantasy Grounds guy has not been able to return to the project. At this point, I'm inclined to cancel and refund the 5 backers we had for this version. I think we'll be able to come back to it and get it done once our main guy is back in business, so I may just ask those folks if they want to keep waiting for an uncertain amount of time or if they'd prefer a refund or alternative.
I'd love to provide abundant VTT support for every system, but at a certain point folks are voting with their dollars and their accounts as to which VTTs they are most inclined to support right now. Given the difficulty in getting and keeping reliable VTT folks, I need to focus on the most good for the most folks, so that's where our primary efforts will be for at least the near future. If we can bring Fantasy Grounds reliably back on line, awesome. Future Shard support wlll probably have to pause for a while to see where it goes.
As for A Tale of Two Seas, we had a comment on the last update that the page had not been activated yet for this new Quick-starter bringing the magnificent Mediterranean Monsters bestiary to Pathfinder 1E and 2E, and also combining it with two-sea action ranging from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean with a second archipelago of adventure for 5E, PF1, or PF2 in Boricubos: The Lost Isles, plus a ton of terrific add-ons! Two seas, THREE game systems, one Quickstarter! We hope you'll check it out with our planned launch date of April 16th!
Thanks again and have a Legendary week!
Mother of Monsters books on the way, and A Tale of Two Seas KS coming next month!

Hi all,
Our final adventures for the Mother of Monsters saga cleared at the printer late last week, so over the course of the weekend and beginning of this week we processed over 150 print orders for backers whose pledges included those awesome adventures! We're excited to see these headed your way and hope you love them when they arrive! For most backers, those adventures are shipping separately from your bestiary books, with Mediterranean Monsters, the Pirate Campaign Compendium, and other bestiary books coming directly from us (or through Amazon fulfillment for some international customers), while Epic Treasures and the Mother of Monsters books are coming directly from the printer. We are looking forward to receiving the Alien Bestiary in early June (scheduled to arrive in port on June 3rd, with delivery to us probably a week or so after that), so print orders including that book will ship out then!
As we close in on the finish line on our original Mediterranean Monsters Kickstarter for D&D 5E, we are delighted to invite any of our Pathfinder fans who loved this project to look forward to our next Quickstarter project: A Tale of Two Seas! This project brings the magnificent Mediterranean Monsters bestiary to Pathfinder 1E and 2E, and as we continued building our Mother of Monsters Adventure Path and the campaign setting of the Kagari Islands, it felt like a great companion to bridge oceans of adventure from Mediterranean to Caribbean with a second archipelago of adventure for 5E, PF1, or PF2 in Boricubos: The Lost Isles, a killer campaign setting (including 3 bonus adventures) inspired by the precolonial Taino and Arawak peoples of the Caribbean, plus the companion Latin American Monsters bestiary (also available combined in a single deluxe hardcover). Two seas, THREE game systems, one Quickstarter! We hope you'll check it out when we launch in mid-April, so sign up today and spread the word!
A Threatened Democracy and updated False Prophecies PDFs are up!

Hi all,
At long last, after much proofing and revision, the latest adventure in the Mother of Monsters Adventure Path is ready for you! Check your Backerkit accounts if you pledged to add A Threatened Democracy to your order and download it today!
As part of the revisions and edits, we also did several more cleanup passes on adventure #2 in the series, False Prophecies, so you'll be able to download a new version of that PDF as well!
We've uploaded the revised print files for False Prophecies today and will be uploading print files for A Threatened Democracy this weekend! Once they clear printing approvals, which usually takes about a week, we'll be ready to start sending out copies of the Mother of Monsters Adventure Path books to all who ordered them! For some backers, if you ordered items from that part of the Kickstarter as well as one or more of our Legendary Beasts books, you likely will get your order in two parts - one package with items we have here at LG, one with items coming directly from the printer, though some backers may receive them all together if that's what the logistics dictate.
For any Pathfinder fans out there who saw Mediterranean Monsters and wanted to join in the fun, I'm about halfway done with my editing pass on the Pathfinder 2E edition of this bestiary, with the PF1 version waiting to be assembled after that. I had to pause things due to it being corporate tax season and having to split my time between that and pushing hard to work with lead designer Adrian Arduini to get the Mother of Monsters books finalized for you, but we are looking forward to launching a second round of Mediterranean Monsters for PF1 and PF2 (as well as any 5E fans who missed items the first time or wanted to add VTT options) next month in April!
For any of our fans who like a touch of sci-fi in your fantasy, we also invite you to check out the Backerkit store for our recent Mediterranean Monsters Quick-Starter for 5E, PF1, and PF2, which is already nearly finished fulfilling! Or, check out our current project, a Pathfinder 1E exclusive, the Arcforge Universe Campaign Setting Kickstarter going on right now! We've hit our first two stretch goals with just one left to go to fill out this sci-fi/fantasy setting steeped in hypertechnology, psionics, and chaos magic! Get new character classes, feats, spells, gear, rules for mechs and power armor, nanotech, and tons of new monsters and templates! in the Arcforge Players' Compendium and Arcforge Universe Cyclopedia! It all ends next week so check it out and share the link your friends and fellow gamers, and as always thanks for your support for all that we do at Legendary Games!
Project updates and a note on Canadian UPS "Brokerage Fees"

Hi all,
I'm on a trip this week so shipping will be slowing down until I return (my son is packing and shipping some batches I've left behind for him to do), but we've gotten a ton of packages out the door the last couple weeks. A couple of quick notes for you!
- I'm about 75% done assembling Mediterranean Monsters for Pathfinder Second Edition for our upcoming Quick-Starter, and I'll be turning to assembling the PF1 version after that. Almost all of the monsters are done; it's just a matter of getting all the pieces put together and then proofing and editing the whole. We are aiming to launch that project in April, so if you are interested in grabbing a copy of this beautiful bestiary for either of those systems, we hope you'll check it out!
- For the current project, we've had several proofreading and revision passes on A Threatened Democracy, and it should be ready to go final next week. We've also done another revision pass on False Prophecies, and once those get approved at the printer we'll be ready to start sending out our Mother of Monsters Adventure Path reward items. Those will be shipping directly from the printer, whereas Mediterranean Monsters, Pirate Campaign Compendium, and most of the other items will be shipping separately from us.
- If your package arrives damaged, shoot us an email with a photo of the damaged item to [email protected], including a photo of the mailing label on the item and the package itself if possible.
- Last but not least, we've had a number of Canadian backers across our Kickstarters letting us know that UPS delivery has been charging them exorbitant "brokerage fees" to deliver their packages, claiming they need to collect a customs import duty of around $5 (which is not unreasonable) and then adding an additional fee of $30-40 on top of that to collect the aforementioned $5 duty (which is very unreasonable). If you are a Canadian backer and get socked with this kind of fee, forward me a copy of the UPS notification to the above email address and I'll be happy to reimburse you the amount of the UPS fee or offer you a generous store credit as compensation.
- Speaking of UPS, we've had at least one Canadian customer say they got a late notification from UPS that they had supposedly attempted to deliver their package three times and were returning it to sender. He never saw any UPS delivery person or had any note left but now his package is on its way back to me. I would hope this is an isolated incident, but if you are an international customer and you get your shipping email from us, it might be worth it to check your tracking number from time to time to make sure your shipment doesn't get misdirected or any kind of other shipping shenanigans.
Thanks again for your amazing support of Legendary Games and we hope you love your books when they arrive!
